I have a 2004 ES330 in the manner of a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but similar to I go approximately turns on onto highway ramps, next I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds in the past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon as soon as the similar engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. This is a drive-by-wire model therefore it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I assume the TPS is integrated next the throttle controller/motor. I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the air flow meter and said it was good. gone I unplug it and direct the motor, the car runs scratchy and at 850ish. I can unaided guess that my extra rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much run in the alternative of rpm though? I think it lonesome adjusts it concerning 1k..
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you in the works to date on every maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms happening and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine be in many factors may cause the same symptom(s)
