This could be an airleak after the airflow meter, any air dragged in here isn t seen by the ECU and for that reason not compensated for and can thin the engine out and can as well as permit the engine to rev going on later than not desired causing harsh running. As its a mechanical malfunction it tends not to point of view on the irregularity light and you can sometimes listen a hissing noise afterward the engine running.

It currently has a master tech credited idle air run valve and tps installed. without disturbing anything, the last (used) ecu and my original, would manage in the car without this symptom.
like I begin the car, the engine surges taking place amid 1200 and 2000 rpm support and forth. I untouched the IAC and the TPS once no amend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to become accustomed the idle rapidity screw to humiliate the rpm and it would support for a while. Now, the engine is every time surging to the tapering off where I cannot steer it for frighten of damage to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
